In the early morning, many Chinese perform physical exercises. Notwithstanding the surveillance, some of them may still be Falun Gong practitioners, and sometimes they may give leaflets to those exercising with them, or leave them around to be found by the morning gymnasts.

Now, there is a risk that these leaflets may become a precious catch for the bounty hunters eager to denounce Falun Gong practitioners for a fee.

Two Falun Gong practitioners called Yang and Zhao are in jail in Anhui province and face heavy sentences. One fellow morning practitioner of physical exercises in Huayuan county, under the administration of Bengbu city, Anhui province, called Xu found a Falun Gong left and went to the Public Security, receiving 2,000 yuan (little more than $300) as a reward.

Xu’s report allowed the police to arrest Yang and Zhao on September 10, 2020, and seize Falun Gong material in Zhao’s home.
