Jiazhou Prison Guards Pour Scalding Water on Falun Gong Practitioner for Persisting in Faith

Based on an original report from Minghui.org

Jiazhou Prison, located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is a disguised facility for the persecution of male Falun Gong practitioners. In 2019, Around 200 Falun Gong practitioners were detained in the prison and subjected to torture, brainwashing, and long hours of forced labor.

To coerce Falun Gong practitioners to give up their faith, prison guards resort to any means, including pouring boiling water on a practitioner’s head after his refusal to renounce his faith.

Mr. Chen Ming, a practitioner from Santai County, Sichuan Province, was sentenced and taken to Jiazhou Prison in 2019. In September, He was dragged to a storage room and ordered to write statements to renounce Falun Gong.

When Chen refused to comply, a guard named Kang Yaolei took a large spoon of boiling water and poured it over Chen’s head. Chen later recounted that it felt as if his head was being pricked by countless needles simultaneously, however, he still refused to write the renouncement statement.

The next morning, Kang dragged Chen to an area near a water heater and without a surveillance camera, again ordering Chen to write the renouncement statement. As Chen still refused, guards poured two full pitchers holding nearly a liter of boiling water onto his head.

The information in this report is from 2019. Reports may be delayed due to security issues and the strict internet censorship in China.
